I am in awe of the bravery and determination shown by the people of Ukraine in the face of such blatant and unwarranted Russian aggression. My country and my family have experienced similar ruthlessness from our common ‘’neighbor’’. That is why it is so important for me, and the rest of the civilized world, to do everything that we possibly can to actively stand and support Ukraine’s fight for freedom and for its God-given right for self-determination. As the war goes on, Ukraine is moving forward and the enemy is regressing. I also plan to move forward, this time to ski to the South Pole, with an initiative called ‘’Sunflowers for Freedom’’, to show solidarity with our Ukrainian brothers and sisters and to raise money for its defenders. The spirit of Ukrainians cannot be destroyed by a bomb or buried in a mass grave. It is pure as the polar snow and unbreakable as glacial ice. And it is why Ukraine will succeed.
